Say โ€œAyeโ€ if Brooklyn Bridge and this song tak Say โ€œAyeโ€ if Brooklyn Bridge and this song takes you back to your childhood bollywood days ๐ŸŒ‰๐Ÿ—ฝ

We happened to be on this bridge on a Sunday which was fortunately (or unfortunately) a sunny one in December ๐Ÿ˜€

You can easily guess the โ€œInstagram vs realityโ€ feel we got here ๐Ÿคฃ

Wish to walk on this bridge someday when it is empty and soak in the amazing vibe ๐Ÿ’™

We had booked the afternoon slot for our Machu Pic We had booked the afternoon slot for our Machu Picchu visit thinking we would avoid the morning mist and the risk of loosing the sight of the iconic Machu Picchu frame. Most of the people book 2-3 slots and visit multiple times doing multiple circuits but since we had limited time, we were banking on this one slot. Our hearts sank when it rained continuously the day of our visit and we were certain weโ€™re gonna miss the iconic view. ๐Ÿฅน

Then our guide said, Iโ€™ll blow off the clouds for you and he literally did blow off gesture using his mouth. Itโ€™s a local belief he said and I was ready to believe in all the beliefs that day. And guess what, it did rain throughout but we still got windows in between where the cloud mysteriously cleared up for 10-15 minutes giving us sometime to see for ourselves and click some pictures. ๐Ÿค—๐ŸŒค๏ธ

.
The expectation was something else but reality turned out to be something else for us. Nonetheless , so so so so glad we could witness the mystical, extra ordinary beauty of Machu Picchu ๐Ÿ’ซ๐Ÿ”๏ธ๐Ÿ’ซโœจ๐ŸŒฑ๐ŸŒณ๐ŸŒธ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ

La Pazโ€™s cable car system, called Mi Telefรฉrico La Pazโ€™s cable car system, called Mi Telefรฉrico, is one of the coolest ways to get around the city. ๐Ÿš

Opened in 2014, it connects different neighborhoods across the steep hills, making travel easier and faster. The cable cars offer incredible views of the city and the nearby mountains, making it not only a great way to explore but also a fun ride. Itโ€™s a unique experience that lets you see La Paz from above while avoiding the cityโ€™s traffic.๐Ÿš™

NYC in 20k INR per person?! Yup, thatโ€™s how much NYC in 20k INR per person?!
Yup, thatโ€™s how much we spent in the heart of NYCโ€”and hereโ€™s how! (Excludes flights)

We visited last year in November, skipped fancy restaurants & expensive observatory decks, and still soaked in all the NYC vibes for 2 full days

๐Ÿ›ŒStay โ€“ INR 10000 pp for two nights

We picked dorm stays right in the heart of NYCโ€”super central, easy access everywhere, and budget-friendly!

We chose @hinewyork and @ymcanyc - though YMCA one is more closer to Time Square, we personally loved Hi NYC hostel much more. Which is in Upper West Side near central park.

However you can get B&B in New Jersey almost at same rate - but since we had 2 days, wanted to maximise our time staying in the heart of NYC

๐Ÿ“ŒTip: Book early & look for hostels with kitchen access to save more.

๐ŸŒญ Food โ€“ INR 3000 pp (USD 32)

We cooked at the hostel or grabbed quick bites. There are ample food trucks all over NYC and obviosuly $1.5 pizza (for one slice) - you can use them if you want to avoid splurging a lot on food.

Having said that, there are lot of good restautanrs in NYC, hence if you want to spend - you will not be disapponted

๐Ÿš‰ Transport โ€“ INR 4,500 pp (USD 54)

Used AirTrain + Subway from the airportโ€”way cheaper than taxis.

๐Ÿ“ŒTip : Get a $25 airtrain pass if you are two or more travelling together. It is valid for 1 month and you can use it 10 times including upto 4 people can use it at once. Much cheaper than $8.25 single ride tickets for one person

๐Ÿ›๏ธ Shopping โ€“ INR 1000 pp (USD 12)
Just a few magnets and avoid purchase from shops around Times Square

๐Ÿ” Locker fee โ€“ INR 1500 pp (USD 17)
Locker fee at the hostel , as we kept all our bags for one full day and saved a full day booking of hotel, since our flight to South America was at night 11 pm

๐Ÿ’ณ Total: INR 20,000 per person for 48 hours

NYC on a tight budget? Totally doable!

To steal our itinerary, please see the detailed videos on our YT. Link in bio ๐Ÿ‘†
